Our seasoned panelists will be talking about their journey in sports, highlighting their accomplishments and the work they have put in to achieve success in a male-dominated profession. From getting their foot in the door to making a name for themselves in sports, our panelists will give insights on the skills and tools needed to navigate in the sports industry, touch on the hot topics and provide nuggets of wisdom to our next generation of women sports professionals.

Panelists:

Kelli Frazier is the owner of Play Like A Girl Apparel, a woman in sports apparel line that launched January 2020 and serves as the Programs & Events Committee Chair for BSPNTX. With 10 plus years of experience in professional sports event coordination and hospitality sales and corporate partnerships, Frazier is known for driving sales and putting on top of the line events within sports. She developed Play Like a Girl Apparel with one goal in mind – to help women show off their voice in the world of sports and entertainment. A master in being a creative voice in sports, Frazier knows how difficult it can be for women to be respected in the sports world. In addition to owning Play Like a Girl Apparel, she works for Genesco Sports Enterprises in its Corporate Consulting department, driving new partnerships for professional teams.

Bria Janelle is a broadcast media professional and in-arena host who has most recently been named as the in-arena host for the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream and Overtime Elite (OTE) League. Janelle has worked as an emcee and media talent with a laundry list of organizations and events, including the HBCU ESports League powered by Verizon, WWE + Cricket Wireless Tour, McDonald’s All-American Game, USA Basketball Olympic Exhibition Tour, WNBA All-Star Game and NBA All-Star Weekend. The 10-year sports industry veteran holds two bachelor’s degrees from Mars Hill University and Georgia Southern University.

Sierra Butler is the Senior Special Event Sales and Catering Manager at Toyota Stadium, which is the competition home of Major League Soccer’s FC Dallas franchise. In this role, Butler oversees all private event sales and operations as well as all premium areas for stadium-wide events. Prior to her time with Toyota Stadium, she was the Special Events and Catering Coordinator with the Dallas Cowboys. Recently, Butler worked as a part of the Legends team at SoFi Stadium to help prepare for and execute the 2022 NFL Honors Awards and Super Bowl LVI. When she’s not busy working, you can find her enjoying her time with her husband Karrie and son Oliver.

A former Procter & Gamble sales executive and team-building expert with quick wit and candor have landed her on hundreds of television and radio shows including The Today Show, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business, TLC, Comedy Central, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Oprah’s Radio Network and many others. In 2011, Harris bested over 15,000 candidates to be named Good Morning America’s Advice Guru Runner-up. The WNBA and NCAA champion is an adjunct professor in advertising, teaching sales, marketing and sports media at her alma mater, The University of Texas at Austin, where she also serves as a play-by-play broadcaster on the Longhorn Network. She is the founder and publisher of Collegepreneur magazine, the world’s first national personal, professional and business publication for college students. Harris is also the co-founder of the Black Millionaires Summit and Black Business University.
