BSPNTX Announces Partnership with PGA of America

July 11, 2023

DALLAS – The National Society of Black Sports Professionals North Texas (BSPNTX) is excited to announce a partnership with the PGA of America.

As a part of this sponsorship, PGA of America is committed to collaborating with BSPNTX on business and career connection opportunities in the golf industry, as well as supporting the

chapter's programs and events geared toward Black sports professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

One of the world's largest sports organizations, the PGA of America is based at PGA Frisco in Frisco, Texas. The Association is comprised of nearly 28,000 PGA Professionals who are dedicated to growing interest and inclusion in the game of golf.

"The PGA of America is committed to welcoming everyone to the game of golf and the incredible opportunities to work in a $102 billion industry that drives nearly two million jobs," said PGA of America Chief People Officer Sandy Cross. "We see this as a special opportunity to work together with BSP North Texas to further develop promising pathways for individuals from all backgrounds, identities and abilities in the game and business of golf."

The PGA of America becomes the ninth organization to become a BSPNTX partner, joining three founding partners (Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars and Dallas Cowboys), along with the Texas Rangers, Reveal Suits, UNT Sport Entertainment Management, Colonial National Mortgage and FastSigns North Arlington.

"Our partnership with the PGA of America is bigger than golf and bigger than sports," said BSPNTX President Larry Lundy. "Their multifaceted campus is literally changing the sports landscape in North Texas and will create access for our members to learn more about the game of golf and explore the wide array of opportunities for career growth and professional development opportunities in and around the golf industry."
