BSPNTX Announces Partnership with Texas Rangers

DALLAS – The National Society of Black Sports Professionals North Texas (BSPNTX) is excited to announce a partnership with the Texas Rangers Baseball Club.


As a part of its sponsorship with BSPNTX, the Rangers are providing support to the chapter's scholarships initiative as well as collaborating with the chapter to bring additional attention to the Roland Parrish Charitable Foundation's Charley Pride Fellowship Program and just keep livin Foundation founded by Camila and Matthew McConaughey and amplify career advancement and networking opportunities for Black sports professionals at various stages of their professional development.


"The Texas Rangers Baseball Club is honored to join Black Sports Professionals North Texas and support the incredible work being done to improve diversity, equity and inclusion in professional sports front offices. We look forward to engaging with the Executive Board and its members in this important work," said Karin Morris, Texas Rangers Senior Vice President, Community Impact and Executive Director, Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.


The Rangers franchise becomes the third organization to become a BSPNTX partner, joining Reveal Suits and the Dallas Mavericks, one of the chapter's founding partners. During the 2021-22 academic year, BSPNTX awarded $10,500 in scholarships to eight undergraduate and graduate students with two recipients receiving custom outfits tailored by Reveal Suits.


"We are excited to collaborate with the Rangers to elevate the great work their franchise does and create more opportunities to spotlight the impact of Black sports professionals in our North Texas community," said BSPNTX President Larry Lundy.
