DALLAS – Black Sports Professionals North Texas reached one of its key goals for 2022 in August.
BSPNTX now boasts more than 100 active members for the first time since its formation. This year has been a busy one so far for the chapter:
• Conducted 4 virtual webinars, 1 in-person event and 2 in-person social gatherings and participated in/supported 4 Juneteenth-centric events.
• Announced 3 new partnerships with the Texas Rangers, University of North Texas Sport Entertainment Management and Colonial National Mortgage.
• Had 5 Executive Board members and 1 chapter member be recognized pregame and throw out first pitches at Frisco RoughRiders games.
• Held in-person Executive Board meetings at Globe Life Field and Frisco RoughRiders Stadium.
• Have already reached nearly 500 students and organizations as guest speakers, lecturers and panelists.
BSPNTX is poised to close the year on a strong note and have the most impactful 12-month stretch in its history.
